"Moss Performing Arts is a fully encompassing training studio in the NKY/Greater Cincinnati region that offers all aspects of theatrical, voice, tumbling and dance training from beginning to the highest levels of pre-professionals. The students are held to a high standard of excellence and personal agency that prepares them greatly for a successful career in the performing arts. The faculty and owners are compassionate educators that know the value the arts have on developing the full human of these young artists and the instructors have worked as freelance professionals inside and outside the greater Cincinnati region. They understand what is required for a bigger market and are providing it in multiple capacities. The students are not only technically skilled, but also extremely respectful, articulate, rhythmic and professional young artists. These are all skills that will help them succeed whether they choose the arts as a profession or as a patron."

TRACEY BONNER, Assistant Professor of Dance - NKU

"The training offered at Moss Performing Arts Academy is of the highest level. Moss offers solid and comprehensive college audition preparation. They are aware of current trends in the theater industry in New York. I am always impressed with the level of talent and training I see in the Moss student."

TRACY MOORE, Professor, Theatre Division at The Hartt School, University of Hartford

"Having danced professionally for great artists and companies like Ballet Hispanico for 13 years, I can see the dancers at Moss Performing Arts Academy work with keen attention to clarity and details. Their dedication to artistry and attention to detail shows that the dancers are on their way to becoming wonderful dancers/artists and good contributors to the dance community. Not only was I impressed with their talent but also their openness to try new ideas in ballet as well in modern dance. I hope all the best to the dancers and their teachers."

ERIC RIVERA, Professor of Dance, Virginia Commonwealth University

"Making the University of Kentucky's dance team would not have been possible without my ability to adapt to different styles of dance and recall choreography quickly with ease. Most people would be intimidated by learning new choreography and performing, but I can say with 100% certainty that it's all thanks to Moss Performing Arts Academy for instilling these skills in me. I also noticed the arts helping me in my college classes. I majored in Advertising and minored in Communication and in many of my classes, presentations or speeches were essential. I believe my ability to act gave me confidence in my public speaking skills and my time performing on stage gave me the ability to channel emotion and command a room's attention."

DANA KEMP, Student

"I am currently studying Theatre and Journalism at Belmont University. My training at Moss has helped me so much and enabled me to be cast in a lead role on Belmont's main stage this season. Without Mr. Joe and Ms. Amy, I wouldn't have been able to have the courage to continuously pursue theatre and keep auditioning. Performing arts at Moss taught me how to be collaborative, professional, and dedicated in both the realm of theatre and journalism. My performing arts training helps me to be confident in interviews and empathetic in my interactions with people. The lessons I learned at Moss, through shows and acting classes, will carry with me for a lifetime."

KENDALL CRAWFORD, Student

"Although the performing arts can be one of the most competitive industries to be in, the incredible life lessons and skill sets it teaches you as a growing individual are unmatched. In my personal opinion, every person should be trained in some form of the performing arts to learn self confidence, public speaking skills, persistence and how to rise above your failures. I am the person I am today because of the life lessons I learned at Moss."

ALEXIS FISCHER, Student

"Whether you pursue a career in the performing arts or not, you will come out a more confident, creative, and disciplined person. It forces you to come out of your comfort zone, which is where growth happens. I went from being a Moss student to joining the dance team in college. Teaching classes at Moss, as well as performinggave me the confidence to be in front of people and sharpened my leadership skills."

MORGAN WALL, Student

"I am currently a Communication major at UC and cover almost all of the Broadway Series at the Aronoff for UC's student newspaper. If it weren't for the arts, I don't know where I would be. Even though I am no longer performing, I am still around theatre and reminded of my background in it every day. I am so happy that I'm able to combine my two great loves - theatre and writing!"

ANNE SIMENDINGER, Student

"Spending up to 16 hours a week at Moss taught me so much about myself and the world. While I was pushed to do my best physically, I was also challenged mentally. I was able to develop a confidence that has allowed me to speak comfortably in front of others, which has translated well in my academic career. In addition, I developed a love for movement, which has continued to grow throughout college - even though I'm a Chemistry major. I have had the opportunity to perform in my university's theatre and dance productions along with traveling to cities like New York, Columbus and Pittsburgh to perform faculty choreographed pieces. My continued involvement with dance stems from the appreciation for the art that I was given at such a young age. I will forever be grateful for Moss, because without it, I would not have had the wonderful friends and opportunities that have made me the person I am today."
